Lot Description
Two Victorian 18ct gold rings, to include a graduated five stone old European cut diamond ring in a boat shape setting (hallmarks for Birmingham, 1863) and an opal and diamond ring, the central opal flanked by old European cut diamonds in a marquise shape setting (hallmarks for Birmingham). Total weight 6.3gms.

Condition Report
Both rings are in overall good condition. There are slight scratches to both in keeping with the age of the piece. There is surface abrasion to the opals in the one ring, all settings would need to be checked, there is an acid mark to the inside of the ring shank, the inner hallmark is almost totally worn away. One of the diamonds in the five stone diamond ring is chipped, the claws would need to be checked, the inner hallmark is a little worn.
