Lot Description
Two early 20th century 18ct gold five stone rings, to include a sapphire and diamond ring, each graduated sapphire interspaced by diamond detail and a similar ruby and diamond ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1919 & Chester 1915. Weight 5gms.

Condition Report
Overall fair to good condition, with wear commensurate to the age of the pieces. They would benefit from a clean. The hallmarks to both are rubbed but legible.
The rubies in the ruby and diamond ring show some abrasion to facet edges and faces. The diamonds to the edge of the stone have some small chips, the centre stone is bright and lively. Ring size Q 1/2.
The sapphire and diamond ring has a small patch of scratches to the back of the ring, the sapphires show very minor abrasion to the table facet edges and are a medium to deep blue. Ring size M.
