A late Victorian diamond half star brooch, circa 1880, the central old European cut diamond cluster surrounded by seven rays of graduated diamonds interspaced by further diamonds. With detachable brooch fittings and woven hair panel to reverse. Estimated total diamond weight 2.00cts, colour H-J, clarity SI1-P1. Diameter 5.8cms.

Condition Report
The brooch/pendant is in overall good condition. The diamonds are bright and lively. A small number of the diamonds set to the graduated rays have large fractures within. Two diamonds are chipped. The diamonds are well matched in colour. The settings will need attention. The silver front is tarnished. Light scratches and dents can be seen in keeping with age.
