A Georgian miniature portrait ring, marquise shaped circa 1820, the later added miniature portrait depicting a young lady within a Georgian black enamelled frame with strengthened ring shank. Length 2.7cms. Weight 5.7gms.

The ring is in overall good condition. The ring head is believed to be Georgian, however the central late 19th century portrait may have been added at a later date, along with the Perspex front. The ring shank may also have been added at a later date.
