A Victorian shell cameo brooch, depicting a central putti being partially embraced to one side by Artemis and to the other by a seated Hermes, with a canetille border. Length 7cm, width 6cm. Weight 26.89gms.

Condition Report
Overall fair condition, the shell shows some hairline cracks along the top that go through the cameo, the facial features are a little rubbed. The rub over setting is quite crude. The inner border has a section missing. The section of metal under the hinge, the hinge and the pin have been replaced. The pin is slightly bent. There are uneven gaps between between the mounted cameo and the canetille border.
