An Edwardian 18ct gold ruby and diamond five stone ring, each graduated ruby interspaced by old European cut diamonds. Hallmarks for Chester 1909. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20cts, colour H-I, clarity SI1-P1.

The ring is in overall good condition. The rubies have a deep hue with even colour saturation. Inclusions are visible. Nibbles can be seen to the facet edges of the rubies. The diamonds are bright and lively. Fractures are clear to the girdle of one diamond. A small chip is visible to this diamond. The claw settings will need attention. Many have worn thin.
