An early 20th century 9ct gold sapphire set snake ring, the sapphire collet set to the head of the snake. Hallmarked Chester 1919. Weight 8.60 gms. Engraved with the initials WRG.

Condition Report
The ring is in overall good condition. There are slight scratches to the ring shank, the inner hallmark is nice and clear. The sapphire is quite dark, there is abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphire visible with magnification, the outer collet is quite uneven. It is possible the sapphire is a later addition. Ring Size UK - V, US - 11.
