A Victorian diamond star brooch, circa 1880, the central principal old European cut diamond surrounded by eight rays of graduated diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 3.20cts, colour H-J, clarity SI1-P2. Diameter 3.2cms.

The brooch is in overall good condition. The piece has been heavily polished and the silver fronting is very bright. The diamonds are fairly nice and bright. Some of the smaller diamonds are chipped, the claws appear secure. The back pin is a little loose.
