Overall good condition, with minor surface scratches and wear commensurate to the age of the piece. Hinge and release clasp are in good working order. Engraving still showing good detail. The hallmark to the interior is slightly rubbed but still easily legible. Inside spring still in good working order. Very small areas of tarnishing around the joins.
