ROLEX - a stainless steel automatic gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Explorer bracelet watch circa 1958, the matt black dial with hourly luminous batons and quarterly luminous Arabic numerals, tonneau shaped case fitted to a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oyster clasp, fitted with a calibre 1570 twenty six jewel movement, movement number 40227, model reference number 5500, serial number 418770. Case width 34mm.
Description update (12.01.10) - The watch is a Rolex 5500 Model Air King, having a later movement caliber 1570 and Explorer re-dial.

Rolex bracelet watch. The movement is currently functioning. Dial appears to be in good condition, but it has few small dints in various places. Hands and glass are scuffed and scratched. Case shows signs of general wear, it is scratched in various places, but they appear to be superficial. Bracelet is in the same state.
