CARTIER - a 18ct gold quartz Vendome lady's wrist watch, the cream dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, the circular shaped case numbered 881002 and 12896, attached to an authentic tan leather strap with 18ct gold pin buckle, with a signed calibre 81. Case diameter 24mm.
Update 14.01.11: The strap has been replaced with a new black strap of the same material.

Condition Report
Movement is currently functioning, the case shows signs of general wear commensurate with material, having, scratches, scuffs and marks, the majority of which appear to be superficial and should polish out, there are remnants of a sticky label on the case back, strap is worn but still useable. Glass, dial and hands look to be in a generally pleasing condition, but there are some light scratches to the glass visible at certain angles under the light.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this watch be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
