A base metal keyless wind open face U.S. Naval Bureau of Ships issue timer by Elgin, the white enamel dial with subsidiary minute dial to twelve o'clock and outer seconds track, plain case numbered 4939443, case back engraved with U.S. Navy Bur Ships, an "N" within an oval and TIMER STOP SER. NO. 12112 1943, operating pusher to twelve o'clock, signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement and overcoil hairspring, numbered 41766317. Case diameter 49mm.

Elgin open face timer, the keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial has some tiny marks, hands show signs of tarnishing, glass is scratched, tiny marks appear to be trapped under the glass, case has scratches as a result of general use, case band shows small dints to the right hand side, back of the case has scratches by the lip to open.
