Lot Description
A gentleman's base metal Ingersoll wrist watch circa 1918, the white paper dial with black Arabic numerals, blue steel hands, six o'clock subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track, the plain round case with wire lugs, movement stamped made in USA with pin pallet escapement, numbered 40386905, fitted to an associated military style leather strap. Case diameter 38mm.

Condition Report
Ingersoll wrist watch, the movement is not currently functioning, Dial is lightly scratched and discoloured to the centre. Hands appear to be in good condition. Glass is hardly scratched to the whole surface. Case shows signs of general wear, it is scratched and has dark discolourations, especially to the back of the case. Crown is lightly moving. Leather strap is tarnished because of its age.
