Lot Description
A George III silver pair cased pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, the case hallmarked London 1772, movement signed William Birchall Liverpool with pierced and engraved balance cock, verge escapement with square pillars. Case diameter 45mm.

Pair cased pocket watch, key winding manual movement is not currently functioning, dial shows various cracks radiating out from the centre to 1 o'clock and between 6 and 8 o'clock, dial also has marks and scratches, hands are tarnished, glass is noticeably scratched, case shows marks, dints and scratches as a result of general use, tarnishing to the case by the pendent, scuffs and marks to the sides of the case which look to be caused by the outer case, back of the case shows various tiny dints, bow is loose and shows scratches and marks along with the pendent, outer case shows scratches, marks and is tarnished.
