Lot Description
An early 20th century gold plated keyless wind half hunter British Watch Co. Ltd pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer minute track and six o'clock subsidiary seconds dial, the plain Dennison Moon grade case numbered 407325, inner cover with presentation engraving, three quarter plate movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Together with a similar example, also with presentation engraving to inner cover. Case diameter 49mm.

British Watch Co. half hunter pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial has cracks radiating out from the centre to 1 o'clock, 7 o'clock over the subsidiary dial and out to 11 o'clock, the centre of the dial has some loss to the enamel, dial also has various small marks, glass has small marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case front is missing its glass, case band as a small patch of wear to the gold plating between the hinges at 9 o'clock, inner back cover has a personal inscription, pendent shows wear to the gold plating.
British Watch Co. half hunter pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is not currently functioning, dial has some small marks, minute hand is missing, remaining hands show signs of tarnishing, glass is missing, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case band has a tiny dint at 4 o'clock, inner back cover has a personal inscription, pendent shows wear to the gold plating.
