Lot Description

An open face key wind H.Samuel silver pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and outer minute track, the engine turned case with vacant central cartouche to reverse and milled band, hallmarked Birmingham 1920, housing a full plate movement with train jewelling and club tooth escapement. Case diameter 54mm. Together with a lady's key wind and set fob watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, and engraved gilt decoration, foliate engraved case with central vacant cartouche to reverse, and personal engraving to inner cover, with Swiss bear hallmark and stamped 0.935, unsigned movement with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 37mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial has a crack to the minute track outside the 'I' numeral and a crack between the 'X' and 'XI' numerals, dial also has some marks partially to the subsidiary seconds dial, hands show signs of tarnishing, glass appears to have a chip to the inside at 12 o'clock as well as having various other marks and scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, case front has visible scratches between 12 and 1 o'clock, case shows signs of tarnishing, back of the case shows signs of wear to the edges.


Lady's fob watch, key winding manual movement is currently functioning, dial has various small marks, glass has various chips to the edges and scratches, discolouration to the edge of the case under the glass, case has scratches as a result of general use, personal engraving to the inner cover, inner back cover is scratched.
