A French early 20th century ruby and diamond bar brooch of openwork design, the central old European diamond surrounded by a quatrefoil diamond border and flanked to each side by graduating calibre cut rubies and further grain set diamond detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20cts. One ruby deficient .

Condition Report
The brooch is in good overall condition in keeping with age and use. The rubies are of varying quality and are poorly matched, one is deficient. The diamonds are fairly bright and lively. The metal mount is displaying general surface wear. Brooch fitting is tight and secure. French assay can be found to the side of the par brooch and on the pin.
