A Victorian 15ct gold diamond set brooch circa 1890 of lozenge shape, the central star set old European cut diamond with a rope style surround and further foliate detail. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1895. Estimated diamond weight 0.07cts. Length 4.5cms. Weight 5.95gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. There are slight scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch, the hallmark is nice and clear and the pin and catch is secure, the makers mark is rubbed. There is a surface reaching fracture to the outer facets of diamond visible with 10x magnification.
