Lot 23

Lot Description

Two Georgian fob seals circa 1820, to include a fob with embossed scroll design grip and intaglio base with engraved initials and another of similar design with chalcedony base, both attached to a scroll embossed split ring. Length of fobs 2.1cms.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both fob seals are in overall good/fair condition. There appears to be solder repair work to the one fob where the grip has been reattached. There are scratches and areas of wear to the embossed detail with slight scratches to each gem base. The detail to the split ring appears quite worn.
