Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold single stone diamond ring, the transition cut diamond within an eight claw setting. Estimated diamond weight 1.20cts , colour J-K, clarity P2/P3. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1921. Stamped NBs. Weight 5.60gms.

The ring is in overall good to fair condition. The diamond is bright and lively, however the diamond's durability is impaired. Three surface reaching fracture can be seen to the edge of the diamond. Parts have chipped off. The inclusions are white and can be seen with the unaided eye. The settings are worn and will need attention. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. The ring shank is bent out of shape slightly from wear. Ring size U.
