Lot Description
An early/mid 20th century seed pearl pendant also an amethyst and diamond brooch, the pendant is of scrolling openwork foliate design set with split pearls and a central oval glass stone (stamped 9ct. Length 4.3cms. Weight 2.7gms). The brooch has three oval amethysts interspaced by oval old European cut diamonds in millegrain settings. Stamped 15ct. Length of brooch 6.9cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall fair to good condition, the pendant would benefit from a clean, the split pearls vary in colour, there is pitting and crazing to the nacres. There is abrasion to the table facet and some of the facet edges. There is wear to the gold towards the edges of the reverse.
The bar brooch has fairly well matched amethysts all with a deep purple colour saturation, with minor abrasion to some of the facet edges. The amethysts are a little loose in their settings. There is a small chip to one of the diamonds. There is some green tarnishing to areas to the reverse of the brooch. The pin and clasp are in working order.
