Lot Description
Two early/mid 20th century rings, to include an Edwardian 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring, the central circular cabochon opal surrounded by diamond points with a further opal to either shoulder and an 18ct gold seed pearl, diamond and sapphire ring, the central seed pearl surrounded by diamond and sapphire set intertwined loops. Opal and diamond ring hallmarks for Birmingham 1908. Total weight 5.88gms.

Condition Report
Both rings are in overall fair/poor condition. There are slight scratches to both in keeping with the age. The central opal to the cluster ring is chipped with abrasion to the two outer opals, there are also some chips to the diamond points. The hallmarks and makers mark is nice and clear. The other ring has wear to the settings, the collet surround holding the sapphires secure has worn away with slight abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphires, the diamonds appear more secure and the seed pearl has a nice bright lustre. There is some discolouration to the shoulders. The 18ct stamp is clear.
