A 1970's 18ct gold opal and diamond suite, to include an opal cabochon and diamond cluster pendant, the central oval opal cabochon surrounded by scattered brilliant cut diamond openwork rays, on an angular textured link necklace with brilliant cut diamond detail, matching ring and drop earrings. Pendant with back brooch fitting. Hallmarks for London 1974/1975/1976 .Estimated total diamond weight 5.20cts, Opal weight 19.37cts. Total weight 100.47gms..

Condition Report
All items are in overall good condition. The white opal in the pendant has a good play of colour displaying pinks and greens, the outer diamonds are lovely and bright, some claws may need to be checked, there are some scratches and dents to the outer openwork paneling. The back brooch fitting is secure There is similar slight wear to the necklace and the clasp is secure. There is an internal fracture visible to the opal in the ring that isn't surface reaching but is easily visible without magnification, the opal displays mainly green and pink, there are slight scratches to the ring in places. The earrings are in good condition. The opals are fairly well matched and the outer diamonds are lovely and bright. There is some blackened discolouration to the reverse.
