Victorian silver brandy pan of classic form with heart mounted hollow silver handle. Hallmarked Roberts & Slater (Samuel Roberts & Joseph Slater) Sheffield 1862. Length including handle measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 1.9 ozt (60.5 grams).

The brandy pan displays general scratches, marks, tarnishing and wear commensurate with the age and use. There are some small shallow dints and bumps visible around the body, also the lip where the shape is no longer circular. The hallmarks positioned to the underside are clear and legible.
