A modern silver sauce boat, with shaped scroll rim and acanthus leaf detail to 'c' scroll handle, standing on three stepped hoof feet. Hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1961. Overall length including handle 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), weight 8.3 ozt (258.3 grams).

The sauce boat displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. There are numerous scratches to the interior and some of these are fairly deep and noticeable. There is also some tarnishing. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
