George IV silver hot milk jug of part fluted form with detachable lid conforming in decoration and woden finial and handle. Hallmarked Richard William Atkins & William Nathaniel Somersall London 1827. Maximum height measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), gross weight 10.5 ozt (327 grams).

The hot milk jug displays wear commensurate with the age and use with visible scratches, marks and tarnishing, some deeper scratches and pitting visible. The join between the handle and silver is not flush, therefore possibly a replacement. The lid does not have any visible hallmarks, the marks to the body are partly rubbed including the makers mark, but clearly legible. Scratch marks/weights visible to the underneath.
