The goblet displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age.  There are some minor dints/nicks in the metal and also various deeper and more noticeable scratches to the main cup.  There is a split in the metal to one of the bunches of grapes of the fruiting vine mount.  The embossed decoration around the base is in fairly good condition.  There is also an impressed mark of a kangaroo and an emu and initials 'WE' (?).  The presentation engraving is slightly rubbed but still legible.
