Lot Description

A cased Victorian silver knife, fork and spoon set, presented to commemorate a first birthday, each decorated in relief to the front of the handle with geometric motifs surrounding an engraved crest, and with engraved foliate and geometric motifs to the reverse, the reverse of the spoon bowl with engraved dedication.  Hallmarked Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall, London 1872 (knife Sheffield 1870).
