Lot Description
George III silver open salt of plain form, blue glass liner and raised above three hoof feet, hallmarked London 1783 and the maker probably Edward Wood. Together with a modern silver mustard pot and spoon of classic form, hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd Birmingham 1967. Gross silver weight 3.7 ozt (116.8 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The open salt displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing, there are some small dents around the body. The initial 'H' engraving has rubbed. The hallmarks to the underside are very rubbed. The glass liner displays only minor nibbles noticeable under close inspection.
The mustard pot and spoon display. general scratches, marks and heavy tarnishing, the hinge to the mustard pot is a little loose and allows sideways movement, the liner is plastic and displays some minor nibbles. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
