Lot Description

A set of six 1920's silver butter knives, the plain handles with shaped terminals, in a fitted case.  Hallmarked John Sanderson & Son Ltd., Sheffield 1921.

The knives display a lot of general wear and surface marks and scratches.  There is also some tarnishing and various nicks/dints to the silver handles.  The blades are quite worn around the edges.  Hallmarks and maker's marks are rubbed but still legible.
