Total lot weight: No

The rattle displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.  There is also some tarnishing.  There are various dints and nicks in the metal all over.  The hanging 'rattle' balls have all opened slightly at the seams and are slightly misshapen.  It is hallmarked around the bottom rim, the lion passant is legible and possibly head of Victoria but other marks distorted.  Maker's mark on the mouthpiece is clear.  There is also some wear to the coral teething aid.
