Lot 334

Lot Description

A Continental white metal figure modelled as a sailing ship with two large sails, mounted on a black velvet rectangular base, stamped S925 to the rudder.  Maximum height including base measures 15 cm.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The item displays general wear and surface marks and scratches.  There is also some tarnishing.  The top of both sails are slightly bent over and there are some minor edge nicks all over.  Otherwise the overall condition appears to be okay.  The stamped mark on the rudder 'S925' is slightly rubbed but still legible.  It is difficult to comment on whether it is still 'as made'.  The base is in good condition.
