Lot Description

Miniature Victorian import silver gilt cup and cover, the body of ovoid form with scroll and floral detail, the lid surmounted with  a standing putto holding a goblet and spear. Hallmarked  London, with the foreign mark, 1895 and the mark of David Bridge. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 1.43 ozt (44 grams).

The miniature cup and cover displays general wear commensurate with the age, with general scratches, marks and heavy noticeable tarnishing. the rim of the body and lid has become a little distorted. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
