Condition Report
The sovereign holder displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and usage. There is also some tarnishing. There is some wear to the engraved decoration. Both sides are pushed in slightly towards the centre, probably due to how it has been held and used. There are some minor nicks and dints in the metal. The hinges and clasp are still in working order. The hallmarks to the interior of the lid are rubbed but still legible. There are part hallmarks to each holder, which are also clear.
