George IV silver vinaigrette modelled as a bag with gilt interior and scroll and floral pierced grill. Hallmarked Clark & Smith (John Edward Clark & Edward Smith) Birmingham 1824. Measuring 23 mm by 31 mm.

The item displays general scratches, marks and tarnishing and obvious signs of wear in keeping with the age and use.

There is a tear and piece missing from side of lid.  The hinges are in good working order.  There are some small dints, in particular a concave area to the reverse.  There is a small split to the hinge.  There are some number scratch marks to the inner lid.  The hallmarks are a little rubbed but still clear and legible.
