Lot Description

Edwardian silver vesta case of rectangular form with initial engraving and suspension loop, hallmarked John Rose Birmingham 1909, measuring 38 mm by 29 mm. Together with a later larger and engraved example, hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons Birmingham 1919, measuring 54 mm by 38 mm. (2).

Both vesta cases display general scratches, marks and noticeable tarnishing. To the larger example there is a little distortion to the silver around the strike. Both sets of hallmarks are clear and legible.
