A late Victorian silver vesta case, with wavy lobed decoration all over. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman, Birmingham 1896. Measures 40mm x 30mm.

The vesta case displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. There is some wear to the lobed decoration. The hinge is in good working order. Hallmarks are very clear and legible. Maker's marks slightly rubbed.
