Lot Description
1930's 9ct gold Masonic medal with circular pendant with personal inscription to the reverse and enamelled mount to the red ribbon. Hallmarked London 1933. Gross weight inclusive of ribbon 28 grams.

Condition Report
The medal appears to be in quite good condition. There is some wear commensurate with the age. There are some light surface marks and scratches to the enamelled mount and to the circular pendant and also some minor edge nicks. There is some damage to the blue enamel on the top 'Octavus' bar. The red ribbon is in good condition. The hallmarks on the reverse are slighltly rubbed but still very clear. The personal inscription reads 'Presented by the Companions of the Valentines Park Chapter No 4412 to Ex Comp. A.J Ellis, as a mark of their esteem & in recognition of his valuable services as M.E.Z during the year 1948-49'.
