Early twentieth century silver teapot of rectangular shaped form with gadrooned rim and ebonised handle and finial. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Birmingham, probably 1913. Gross weight 12.9 ozt (402 grams).

Condition Report
There are scratches, marks and tarnishing, the interior heavily discoloured. The hinge is loose displaying sideways movement. The finial and handle are different colours, the finial, discoloured and showing deterioration through splits and cracks. The hallmarks a little rubbed but clear and legible. The date letter could be either 1913 or 1938.
