Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver footed dish, the shallow bowl with a decorative pierced border depicting foliate scolling motifs.  Hallmarked Martin Hall & Co Ltd., Sheffield 1918.  Diameter measures 7 1/2 inches (19cm), weight 11ozt (345 grams).

The dish displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.  There are some fairly deep and noticeable scratches to the interior of the bowl.  There is some tarnishing and pin prick marks to the metal.  The pierced decoration is slightly dinted in some places but generally ok.  Hallmarks and maker's marks are rubbed but still legible.
