Lot 1252

Lot Description

A pair of late 19th century hair combs, each with a colourless paste set tapered double panel to the top and imitation tortoiseshell teeth. Length 12.5cms.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both combs are in overall good condition. Some of the paste appear to have been possibly replaced as they do not match in cut, the paste also appears to vary in shade possibly due to the glue backing discolouring the stones. One of the combs is quite heavily discoloured to the back of the head section, there are overall scratches to the settings. The imitation tortoiseshell just has slight scratches in places.
