Lot Description

A lady's continental hunting accessory in the form of a stone set hinged circular panel encircled with a hunting horn and suspended by two buckled straps from a riding hat. With rear clip fitting having indistinct continental marks. The small panel possibly held rouge or lip balm. Length 11.5cms.

Overall condition fair  - the whole of the pieces is tarnished and very green in parts. All stones are present with some fine scratches, one red stone has been replaced at the top of one strap with a faceted stone. The hinges are in working condition and the interior is also in good condition. There is a small hole at the back of the circular panel.
