An early 20th century rosewood framed parlour seat. The twin seater frame with ivory and boxwood inlaid decoration, the open splat back above an overstuffed upholstered seat, enclosed by conforming scrolled arms. 42.5" (108cm) wide

Frame has some damage. Under the seat the frame is tied by a stretcher (not visible) this has been broken at its joins. The frame was originally bergere cane upholstered, this is missing and now replaced in green upholstery. The back shaped splats have some splits in them
