Lot Description

A good Victorian walnut veneered Davenport. The top with fitted rise and fall action stationary compartment, above a hinged panel lifting to reveal a draw out leather inset writing surface, fitted glass inkwell and pen tray. The base with pillaster supported knee hold recess, before a bank of hidden drawers fitted to one side, concealed behind a moulded panel, the whole upon ceramic castors. Maximum height 46" (117cm)
