Lot Description
An early/mid 20th century diamond, ruby and seed pearl pendant/brooch, the central petal design cluster set with an old cut diamond and seed pearls within a six ray star of graduated seed pearls, each ray interspaced by a ruby and further foliate detail. With later added brooch and clasp. Diameter 3.3cms. Weight 8.4gms.

Condition Report
The pendant is in overall good condition. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age. All stones and claw settings will need checking, general maintenance. The rubies are well matched and have a strong red to pinkish hue. Minor nibbles can be seen to some. The diamond is bright and lively. There is a chip to the table facet and small scattered dark inclusions can be seen within. The culture pearls are fairly well matched. They have a cream body colour with pink to peach over tones.
