Both brooches are in overall good condition. The opals in the bar brooch have a good play of colour displaying pinks greens and blues, there is slight abrasion to the opals only visible with 10x magnification. There is dirt to the brooch in places and slight scratches, the pin is a little bent. There are slight scratches to the cultured pearl brooch, the pearls are well matched with a couple of more noticeable imperfections to the one pearl, the pin and catch is secure, the clasp may need to be secured.
