Lot Description
An early/mid 20th century seed pearl and amethyst necklace, the seed pearl set necklace with eleven suspended graduated oval amethysts. Length of necklace 38cms. Length of central amethyst 1.25cms, width 0.75cms.

Condition Report
The necklace is in overall fair/poor condition. The seed pearls vary in shape all with blemishes and imperfections, they are fairly well matched in colour. There are some chips to the central amethyst, one of the outer amethysts is also chipped to the top and bottom. The amethysts vary in colour some paler others with a deeper colour. The central amethysts are predominantly paler in colour, some of the outer amethysts have a patchy colour distribution typical of amethyst. There are incluisons and tigerstripe inclusions to many of the amethysts, one stone is heavily included.
