A late 19th century French purple paste target brooch, the circular purple paste with a central overlaid split pearl set flower with a double rope design surround. Diameter of brooch 2.7cms. Weight 5.88gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good/fair condition. There is a file and acid mark to the back rim. There are some small chips to the purple paste visible with magnification, the seed pearl is in good condition. There are slight scratches to the outer border. The pin and catch is secure. The purple paste has possibly been added at a later date.
