Opal and diamond flower brooch, the raised central cabochon opal within a brilliant cut diamond surround surmounted on diamond set leaves with rope design edges interspaced by further cabochon opals. Stamped Corletto 18K Italy. Length 5cms. Weight 20.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall good condition, the brooch would benefit from a clean, there are noticeable surface scratches and minor nicks. The central opal setting has a claw missing, the stone still seems fairly secure, there is a chip to the bottom of the central opal that is not immediately noticeable as it is mainly on the underside of the stone. The opals have a good play of colour showing mainly greens, blues and purples. There is some minor abrasion and some small nicks to the central opal. The clasp is loose and comes undone quite easily, soft solder can be seen to the double pin. The pin wobbles slightly on its hinge.
