ROLEX - 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's Oyster wrist watch circa 1939, the silvered dial with luminescent Arabic numerals and hands, subsidiary dial to the six o'clock position and surrounding outer minute track, cushion shaped case with fixed bar lugs numbered 43973, hallmarked Glasgow import 1939, signed 15 jewel movement, fitted to an associated brown leather strap. Case width 27mm.

Condition Report
Rolex wrist watch, the movement is currently functioning, dial is hardly darkened to the whole surface, there are some discolourations to the edges as well due to the age of the watch, hands are slightly tarnished, glass is scuffed as a result of general wear, some of those scratches are quite deep and will not polish out, case is in quite good condition but it also has scratches, most of the scratches appear to be superficial and should polish out, leather strap appears to be in a very good condition.
